Resetting an AP to Factory Defaults

If you want to erase all of the settings that you have configured on an AP, you can reset it to its factory default settings.

DANGER: Performing this procedure will erase all of the settings (including networks that may currently be providing Wi-Fi service to users in your venues, that you have configured on the access point.
Complete the following steps to reset an AP to its factory default settings.
  1. From the navigation pane, click Networking Devices and select the WiFi tab.
  2. Click an AP name to view details about the AP.
  3. Click the name of the AP that you want to reset to factory default settings.
    The AP information page is displayed.
  4. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Manage to display a menu, and click Factory Reset.
    A confirmation message is displayed.
  5. Click Reset to Factory Settings.
