New Features

The following software features are introduced in AP firmware release 7.1.1.530.5193.

Table 1. New AP Firmware Features
Feature Description
Support for 6 GHz Indoor Bands in Korea and Japan for Wi-Fi 6E Compliance Introduced support for 6 GHz indoor frequency bands: 5925–7125 MHz for Korea and 5925–6425 MHz for Japan, enabling enhanced Wi-Fi 6E connectivity in compliance with regional regulations.
CVE Patches & AP Enhancements for Security and Performance Implemented CVE-related security patches and integrated critical AP feature enhancements to strengthen system security and improve overall AP performance.
Multi-Link Operation (MLO) Support for R370 For R370, Wi-Fi 7 clients can now connect across multiple radio bands and dynamically switch between them, delivering higher throughput and lower latency in compliance with the IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) standard.
Note: The Wi-Fi 7 Multi-Link Operation (MLO) feature is available but requires client OS and driver support. WPA3 encryption is mandatory when using MLO to ensure network security.
Wi-Fi Calling Enhancements on R370 for Superior Voice Quality The RUCKUS Wi-Fi Calling feature on R370 improves voice call quality by reducing latency, jitter, and roaming delays across Wi-Fi networks.
