New Features

The following section provides information on the new features and enhancements in this release.

  • Configure MSP-EC tier as Essentials or Professional: Managed Service Providers (MSPs) now have the ability of granular monetization options using the RUCKUS One MSP platform by having the option to select the service tier, either Essentials or Professional, when establishing a new MSP-EC. Additionally, MSPs have the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade existing MSP-ECs in accordance with the service agreement terms with their customers.
  • AP SNMP MIB download link in the RUCKUS One User Interface: A hyperlink for downloading the AP SNMP MIBs is now accessible both at the AP level and the Venue level.
  • Low Power Detection: An alert will now be triggered if a tri-radio access point, such as the R770 or R760, which necessitates an 802.3at or 802.3bt port for operation, is powered on by an 802.3af port.
  • AI-Driven RRM partial optimization: AI-Driven RRM has additional options to select partial optimization or full optimization. While full optimization adjusts channel plan, channel bandwidth, and Tx power; partial optimization adjusts only channel plan while retaining the configured channel bandwidth and TxPower.
  • New Airtime Incidents: New incidents are introduced for Airtime Busy, Airtime Rx, and Airtime Tx with detailed insights, network impact, root cause, and resolution.
  • Granular Scheduling Reports: Added granularity picker for Schedules which allows you to specify the time interval for which data is aggregated and presented in scheduled reports. Default granularity value is defined for existing schedules. For daily and weekly schedules, the default granularity is set to 15 minutes, while for monthly schedule, the default granularity is set to Hour.
  • New Client Events: New client events have been added for client load balancing and sticky client steering, providing valuable assistance in troubleshooting roaming-related issues.
  • Edit Venue-Level Admin Password on a Venue or a Switch Level: The Admin password is editable at the venue level by performing a venue configuration update, where you are also given the option to apply the edited password to all existing switches in the venue, as well as automatically assign it to any new switch joining the venue.
