Accessing the Mesh Topology

Complete the following steps to view the Mesh information at the tenant level.

  1. From the navigation pane, click Networking Devices and select the WiFi tab.
Click an AP name to view details about the AP. On the top-left corner, you will find the Mesh label, listed in the View menu.
Note: The Mesh label is available only if one of the venues is set to support Mesh.
  2. Click the Mesh link.
The Mesh topology table displays all the APs that are part of a Mesh topology. APs in venues that are not set to support Mesh will not be presented. Root APs have an expand button adjacent to the name.
  3. Click the expand button to view the Mesh APs that are connected to the root AP.
The row expands, listing all the Mesh APs with their respective properties.
  4. To view the Mesh APs from the venue level, click any venue that is linked to a root AP. The venue details page is displayed.
  5. Click the APs tab in the venue details page. The AP details page is displayed.
  6. On the top-left corner of the page, you will find the Mesh label in the View menu. The root APs are displayed.
  7. Click the expand button to list the Mesh APs that are connected to the root AP. You can use the expand button available with the Mesh APs to navigate to different levels.
Note: If a venue does not support Mesh, the AP details page that is displayed when you click the APs tab does not show the Mesh label in the View menu. However, if you defined the venue as Mesh but have not added any APs, the Mesh label will be available. If you click the Mesh label, a message displays that no Mesh APs are added.
