Supported Software and Hardware
Only specific Ruckus Wireless AP models, ICX switches support Ruckus Cloud. Before adding an AP or switch to the Ruckus Cloud service, make sure that it is a supported model and running the required firmware version.
Minimum Software Version Requirement
- Supported ICX version: FastIron release 08.0.90d
- Supported Wi-Fi version: 20.01

Getting the Switches Ready
If the switches have Ruckus Cloud Ready mentioned on the switch label then continue adding the switch to your Cloud account.
Otherwise, use one of the following two methods to upgrade the ICX switch to 08.0.90d firmware.

TFTP-based Upgrade:
Ruckus Cloud provides a simpler way of automatically configuring the switches using Switch Configuration profiles.
The following is the recommended procedure to get a switch up and running:

Define switch configuration profiles containing VLANs and Access Control Lists (ACLs)

Apply them to one or more venues

Add switches to the venues
