LED Status During Cloud Discovery

The changing colors and states of the LEDs on the AP indicate progress of the Cloud discovery process.

1. When the AP is powered on, the PWR LED turns red and blinks green until it receives a valid IP address from the network. The PWR LED lights solid green after it receives a valid IP address.

   

2. The CTL/DIR LED blinks green slowly when the Cloud discovery process begins. It remains in this state until the AP starts talking to the Ruckus Cloud controller.

   

3. When the connection to the Ruckus Cloud controller is established, the CTL/DIR LED blinks green rapidly to indicate downloading the configuration from the Cloud through the SSH tunnel. The CTL/DIR LED lights solid green after the download is complete.
