AP Control via HTTPS
With this AP firmware upgrade, control of access points by RUCKUS Cloud will be moved from using the SSH protocol to Websockets over Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS)/ (Transport Layer Security) TLS. This is a major overhaul in the control and command of RUCKUS Cloud access points, allowing for more resiliency and reliability of the connection. To allow RUCKUS ACX to function properly, configure your firewall to allow for outbound connectivity according to the following guidelines.
