August 2025 Release Information

The following software features and enhancements are introduced in this release. Refer to the RUCKUS One Online Help, RUCKUS One MSP Guide, and RUCKUS One Licensing Guide for more information.

New Features

The following software features are introduced in this release.


Feature	Description
Identity Management	Introduced support for common identity attributes to streamline Identity Management.
Identity Group MSP Template	Introduced the Identity Group MSP Template type to enhance policy control and management.
Incident: Port Flap	A new wired incident for Port Flap has been introduced, which detects switches with unstable ports that rapidly toggle between up and down states. The incident provides detailed visibility into affected ports, root cause analysis, and recommended corrective actions. This feature requires switches to run FastIron firmware version 10.0.10g, 10.0.20c, or later as a prerequisite.
IoT Controller Licensing	RUCKUS One licensing now includes the IoT controller. Each IoT controller consumes one Device Networking license from your license pool. The IoT controller itself still requires an RTU license. Contact RUCKUS Support to obtain an RTU license free of charge. IoT RCAP license management is currently not supported in RUCKUS One. Standard IoT RCAP licenses must be installed directly on the IoT controller.

Enhancements

The following enhancements are introduced in this release.

Multiple Certificate Templates Associations	Enabled multiple Certificate Template associations per WLAN for enhanced flexibility.
Device Firmware in MSP	Enabled firmware visibility in MSP Device Inventory to enhance tracking and update management.
Error Message Enhancements	Improved error messaging to provide clearer feedback across API and UI interfaces.
Wired Client Visibility	Enabled visibility of wired clients on AP LAN ports to improve network diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Dynamic LAG Enhancement	Added the option to configure the 'force-up' setting for a switch port in a Dynamic LAG, simplifying deployment in two-tier network architectures.
IntentAI: Additional AI-Driven RRM metrics	Additional AI-Driven RRM metrics, including Neighbor AP metrics, Channel Distribution, and Power Transmission, have been added to the AI-Driven RRM page within IntentAI. These new metrics provide deeper insights into network congestion, channel utilization, and transmit power distribution, enabling more effective RF planning and optimization.
AI-Driven RRM UI Enhancements	The user interface of the AI-Driven RRM wizard pages in IntentAI has been refined for improved usability and workflow alignment. The comparative interfering link graph, which was previously available on the Summary page, has now been moved to the Introduction page. Additionally, all metrics from the Introduction page are now also accessible on the Intent Details page, ensuring consistent visibility throughout the configuration process.
Incident Visibility Controls	The Incidents page is enhanced with visibility controls, including a new Visibility column to clearly distinguish between muted and unmuted incidents in the Incidents table. A Visibility filter above the table allows filtering by all, muted, or unmuted incidents. By default, only unmuted incidents are shown; muted incidents remain hidden unless explicitly filtered. Additionally, multiple incidents can now be selected to perform bulk mute or unmute actions, streamlining incident management across multiple entries.
