June 2025 Release Information

The following software features and enhancements are introduced in this release. Refer to the RUCKUS One Online Help, RUCKUS One MSP Guide, and RUCKUS One Licensing Guide for more information.

New Features

The following software features are introduced in this release.


Feature	Description
RBAC Improvement	RUCKUS One introduces a major RBAC improvement, allowing Prime Administrators to configure and assign attribute-based access control (ABAC) roles to other administrators. Permissions for a custom ABAC role are configurable at both a global level and at advanced granular levels, providing more flexible and fine-grained access control in complex and dynamic environments where permissions need to be tailored to specific situations and conditions.
Self Sign In Authentication via WhatsApp	Captive Portal "Self Sign In" networks now support WhatsApp one-time passcodes via Twilio, reducing carrier costs and broadening global reach.
Ethernet Port Template	The new Ethernet Port template enables standardized, scalable configuration across deployments.
Email Sub-Addressing	Email sub-addressing incorporating the + symbol is now supported in RUCKUS One, allowing unique administrator account creation using qualified email addresses.
Open Network Identity Integration	Open networks without registration lists can now associate connected devices with identities, enabling centralized management and more effective policy enforcement.
Secure MSP Login Integration	MSP customers using a central authentication provider can now integrate the RUCKUS One MSP Portal with SAML for secure, streamlined administrator logins.

Enhancements

The following enhancements are introduced in this release.


Feature	Description
Template Changes	Templates can now be cloned as forked copies for the following types: Network, Venue, DPSK, and Wi-Fi Calling. Templates are now capable of being enforced downstream to provide governance over deployments to MSP-Customers for the following template types: Network, Venue, DPSK, Wi-Fi Calling, and RADIUS.
Increased SSO Group Limit	The SSO Group limit for Admin SAML authentication is raised to 100, offering greater flexibility in managing role-based admin access.
VLAN Pooling Enhancement	VLAN Pooling now supports OWN and OWE Transition networks, enabling more flexible segmentation and management.
Regional URLs for Redirection	RUCKUS One now supports region-specific URLs for third-party captive portal redirection. SocialSign.in WISPr integration has been enhanced to support deployments across three regions, improving scalability and availability.
License Grace Period	Licenses currently in the grace period are not counted toward device additions or reflected in the UI license bar, ensuring accurate tracking of active license usage.
