Events in RUCKUS One are classified into the following types: Admin, AP, Switch, Client, Network, and Notification.

• AP: AP events are events that occurred on APs managed by RUCKUS One. Examples of AP events include when an AP's configuration settings are updated and when an AP's IP address changes.

• Security: Rogue events are the events that displays information about the rogue APs.

• Client: Client events are events that occurred on wireless clients that were associated with any of your managed APs.

• Switch: Switch events that occurred on switches managed by RUCKUS One. Examples of AP events include when the firmware version of a switch gets updated.

• Network: Network events are events that related to other modules in the network such as a local AAA server.

• Notification: Notification events are event that occur in the network and include upcoming license expiration, AP disconnected from cloud, partner accepting customer invitation and others. RUCKUS One informs administrative users about important events via email and SMS.
