Hospitality Solution Provider (HSP) License
Ownership and Control
For RUCKUS customers in the hospitality
industry, RUCKUS One makes it easy to link end customer accounts (properties) to the
brand's RUCKUS One Managed Service Provider (MSP). The brand administrator can assign
integrators to manage the end customer accounts associated with the brand. This topic
describes the terminologies that are specific to the Hospitality Solution Providers
(HSPs).
Brand: A
hospitality MSP is an established brand in the hospitality industry, a
franchisor that has entered into business agreements with multiple hotel owners.
Brands do not own or activate RUCKUS One licenses. Brands require the ability to
access the Brand Dashboard to view and monitor their
business interest.
LSP: LAN
Service Providers (LSPs)/Tech Partners are resellers and/or Tech Partners hired
by the brand. When a new RUCKUS One license is purchased by a property owner,
LSPs are required to activate the license. In addition, LSPs are responsible for
managing the networks in multiple properties for the brand.
Property
Owner: The owner of the property that agrees to follow the
standard set by the brand gains the benefit of managed network services.
Property owners buy and own RUCKUS One licenses.
Brand
Property: A property may have different venues such as, guest
rooms and conference rooms. Licenses purchased by the property owner are
displayed in this account.
Licenses:
RUCKUS One licenses are owned by each property owner. Licenses cannot be pooled
across the brand properties.
