AI Operations
AI Operations provides network performance enhancement recommendations based on continuous monitoring and analysis of network conditions. It integrates AI-driven insights to identify areas for optimization and offers automated recommendations to address issues like network congestion, channel interference, and other performance bottlenecks.
The AI Operations recommendations focus on optimizing the Wi-Fi experience. These recommendations include changes to auto-channel selection modes, background scan timers for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios, enabling or disabling Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) for 5 GHz, adjusting band balancing or load balancing settings, and other network optimizations.
AI Operations recommendations, which are available as intents in the IntentAI page, are triggered by monitoring dynamic factors influencing network performance and aim to fine-tune static configurations to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall user experience. You can view the intents on the IntentAI page and apply them to enhance network performance. Once an intent is applied, IntentAI initiates an automation process that applies the intent once but continues to monitor the configuration. Once an intent is active, the system will make an initial adjustment based on the recommended settings. However, even after this change, the system continues to monitor the configuration. If the configuration is manually altered after the initial adjustment, the system will detect the change and reset it to the previously recommended settings during its next scheduled check. The page also provides insights into network performance before and after the intents are implemented.
When a new AI Operations recommendation is available, IntentAI allows you to choose your intent by specifying the network priority while applying the recommendation.
