Adding or Editing a Switch Model

From the RUCKUS One web interface, you can add or edit the switch model.

To add or edit a switch model, complete the following steps.
  1. On the navigation bar, click Wired > Wired Network Profiles > Configuration Profiles.
    The Wired Networks page is displayed. By default, the Configuration Profiles tab is selected.
  2. Select an existing profile and click Edit.
    The Edit Switch Configuration Profile page is displayed.
  3. In the General Properties, enter the profile name and description and the click Next.
  4. In the VLANs tab, complete the following.
    • VLAN ID: The VLAN ID.
    • VLAN Name: The VLAN name.
    • IPv4 DHCP Snooping: Toggle the switch to ON. By default, the option is turned OFF.
    • ARP Inspection: Toggle the switch to ON. By default, the option is turned OFF.
    • IGMP Snooping: Select Active, Passive, or None.
    • Multicast Version: Select a multicast version.
    • Spanning tree Protocol: Select spanning tree protocol: RSTP, STP or None.
  5. Click Add Model.

  6. Select a Switch family, model, and modules and click Next.
  7. Select untagged ports from the available modules in the Untagged Ports section and click Next.
  8. Select tagged ports from the available modules in the Tagged Ports section and click Finish to return to the Add VLAN .
