Managing Application Tokens

For existing application tokens, you can copy the client ID or client secret, generate a new client secret, and delete the application tokens that are no longer necessary.

Complete the following steps to manage your API tokens.
  1. On the menu, select Administration > Account Management > Developers.
  2. Click the Application Tokens sub-tab.

    Click the radio button next to the application token name that you need to manage.

  3. Click the radio button next to the application token name that you need to manage.
    The options bar appears.
  4. Select the appropriate option for the selected application token (based on one of the following task goals):
    The Client ID and Client Secret are generated automatically and is displayed on the Application Tokens page .
    1. Copy the Client ID or Client Secret.
      1. Click Edit. The Edit Application Token sidebar appears.

      2. Click the appropriate Copy option (available separately under the Client ID and the Client Secret fields) to copy the string into your local device clipboard, allowing you to paste the string into a third-party application.
      3. Click X to close the sidebar.
    2. Generate a new Client Secret.
      1. Click Edit. The Edit Application Token sidebar appears.

      2. Click Rotate Secret under the Client Secret field. A new Client Secret string is created and may be copied and used as necessary for a third-party application.
      3. Click X to close the sidebar.
    3. Delete the application token.
      1. Click Delete. The Delete confirmation box appears.
      2. Click OK. The application token is deleted from the system.
