Logging In and Adding Administrators

The user account that activates the purchase is the Prime administrator account of the RUCKUS One instance. This person can add additional administrators with different access rights (roles). All RUCKUS One administrators have access to the RUCKUS Support website as well.

Account Management

Once you are logged in to RUCKUS One, hover your cursor over the Administration option. The resulting submenu contains a subheading titled Account Management, under which you have access to an assortment of options designed to simplify review and modification of your account settings. The following list provides the available options in this section and the functions accessible therein.

The Account Management options reviewed here pertain to the options available for RUCKUS End-customer (REC) accounts. For account options pertaining to MSP accounts, refer to the RUCKUS One MSP Guide.

Administrators
  • Add users to perform administrative duties.
  • Configure SSO groups to manage use of a third-party authentication server.
  • Create custom privilege groups to manage the scope of user access.
  • Create custom administrator roles to manage user permissions.
Notifications Manage recipients of system notifications and set your AI notification preferences.
Subscriptions Manage your existing cloud subscriptions and pending subscription purchase activations (SPAs) without using the RUCKUS Support portal.
Version Management Manage firmware versions for your network devices. RUCKUS One, as a cloud-based service, is automatically updated by RUCKUS in most scenarios.
Webhooks Create webhooks to allow RUCKUS One to send incident notifications to external applications.
ZD Migration Administer migration of your legacy ZoneDirector network configuration to RUCKUS One.
