Licensing Compliance and Usage

This feature offers detailed insights into MSP license usage, enabling more informed and strategic planning for future licensing needs.

Feature Overview

Licensing Compliance and Usage data is particularly beneficial for large enterprise network environments in which managing licenses for a vast number of devices is crucial. This feature offers detailed insights into license usage, availability, and expiration dates, allowing administrators to efficiently track and manage licenses, helping prevent over-allocation, and ensuring all devices remain compliant. This level of oversight is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of extensive networks, allowing for better planning, resource allocation, and overall network management.

Four new features are introduced to enhance MSP license management:
  • MSP End Customers Usage List: This feature provides detailed visibility into device networking subscriptions for all of your MSP end customers. Per-customer data includes customer status, service expiry, the numbers of licenses assigned, available, and used, and the numbers of configured network devices (APs, switches, RUCKUS Edge devices, and RWGs).
  • License Distance Calculators by Max Licenses: This tool takes start date and end date as inputs and calculates the quantity of licenses available during that period.
  • License Distance Calculators by Max Period: This tool takes start date and quantity as inputs and determines the end date for the specified quantity of licenses.
  • Chart of Active Paid Licenses: This chart provides a detailed view of the active paid licenses over the next two years commencing from the present time.
