Viewing Certificates for an Identity
You can view certificates associated with the selected identity, including status, expiration, and issuance details. The Identity details page displays certificates generated from a certificate template and actions available for managing them.
-
From the navigation bar, select Clients > Identity Management > Identities List.
The Identity Management page displays the Identities sub-tab.
-
Click on the name of the identity you want to modify.
The identity's Overview page is displayed.
-
Select the Certificates tab.
A table providing the following details about the certificates issued to the identity is displayed:
- Common name: Displays the common name defined in the certificate.
- Status: Indicates the current state of the certificate, such as whether the certificate is valid or revoked.
- Expiration Date: Displays the date on which the certificate expires and is no longer valid for authentication.
- Revocation Date: Displays the date on which the certificate was revoked. This field is empty if the certificate has not been revoked.
- Identity: Identifies the identity to which the certificate is associated.
- Issued By: Displays the certificate authority (CA) that issued the certificate.
- Timestamp: Shows the date and time when the certificate was generated.
If you want to prevent an identity from accessing the network, click Block Identity. This action blocks all network access for the identity without deleting the identity or its associated certificates.
To manage certificates for the identity, select a certificate and click Revoke to invalidate it, Unrevoke to restore a revoked certificate, or Delete to permanently remove the certificate from the identity.
