Supported Software and Hardware

RUCKUS One offers support for a select list of RUCKUS AP models and ICX switch models. Before adding an AP or switch to the RUCKUS One, make sure that it is a supported model and running the required firmware version.

Supported ICX Firmware and Switch Models

Supported ICX versions: RUCKUS FastIron 09.0.10f for supported ICX 7000 series switches and FastIron 10.0.0 and later for ICX 8200 series switches.

If a switch is not running the minimum required version, you can download FastIron 09.0.10f (the latest version supported by RUCKUS One) from the following link and complete the switch image update from the switch CLI:

To determine whether the switch is running the firmware required for RUCKUS One, look for "RUCKUS Cloud Ready" on the switch label. If the "RUCKUS Cloud Ready" is not found on the switch label, upgrade the switch directly to FastIron 09.0.10f (router image).

Note: The ICX 7150-C08P/PT must be upgraded with a switch image.
