Managing DPSK Passphrases

Managing Dynamic Pre‑Shared Key (DPSK) passphrases from the RUCKUS One web interface is essential for maintaining a secure and efficient Wi-Fi environment. Unlike traditional shared passwords, the DPSK security method assigns each user or device a unique passphrase, reducing the risk of unauthorized access and preventing password leaks.

This approach also allows administrators to revoke or update individual credentials without disrupting the entire network, making it easier to scale and manage large groups of users.

Proper management of DPSK passphrases helps maintain stronger security, enables better tracking of individual users, and simplifies the onboarding process, while still allowing centralized control over network access.
