Editing or Deleting a Resident Portal

You can edit or delete the RUCKUS supported resident portal.

Complete the following steps to edit a resident portal.
  1. On the navigation bar, select Network Control > My Services.
    The My Services page is displayed.
  2. Click Resident Portal tile.
    The Resident Portal page is displayed.
  3. In the Name column, click Radio Button beside the Resident Portal name, and click Edit. Alternatively, select the Resident Portal name, and click Configure. The Edit Resident Portal page is displayed.

    You can edit the following fields:
    • Service Name:
    • Portal Title
    • Subtitle
    • Login Text
    • Annoucements
      • Click Add New to add a new announcement.
      • Click See All to view all the existing announcements.
    • Help Text
    • Allow residents to set passphrase: Toggle the switch to let the residents set passphrase.
    • Main Color
    • Ascent Color
    • Separate Color
    • Logo
    • Favicon
  4. Click Save.
  5. (Optional) Complete the following steps to delete a resident portal.
    Note: You cannot delete a resident portal while venues are using it.
    1. Open Resident Portal page, refer to Step 1 and Step 2.
    2. Select the Resident Portal that you want to delete and click Delete.
      The Delete confirmation dialog box is displayed.
      Note: The Delete option will be displayed only if the Resident Portal is not used in the Property Management.
    3. Click Delete Policy to delete the Resident Portal.
      A message confirming successful deletion is displayed.
