Adding a Wi-Fi Calling Service

You can add a Wi‑Fi Calling service to enable Wi‑Fi Calling on selected wireless networks. The service includes predefined carrier options that simplify configuration.

Complete the following steps to add the Wi‑Fi Calling service:
  1. Add the Wi-Fi Calling service to your tenant account. From the navigation bar, select Network Control > Service Catalog.
  2. Find the Wi-Fi Calling tile and click Add.
    The Add Wi-Fi Calling page is displayed.

  3. Enter a Service Name.
  4. (Optional) Enter a short Description.
  5. Select a QoS Priority from the drop-down list. The options are Voice (default), Video, Best Effort, and Background.
  6. Click Add to configure the Evolved Packet Data Gateway (ePDG).
    Note: You must configure at least one ePDG entry.

    • Select Carrier: Select a carrier from the drop-down list.
      Note: You can search by carrier name, country, or MCC/MNC (Mobile Country Code and Mobile Network Code).
      • When you select a predefined carrier, the Carrier ePDG FQDN field is automatically populated from the RUCKUS One catalog.
      • Select Other to enter carrier details manually, then complete the following fields:
        • Carrier ePDG FQDN: Enter the domain name.
        • (Optional) Carrier Name: Enter the carrier name.
        • (Optional) IP Address: Enter the IP address.
    • (Optional) Click the Add another ePDG checkbox to add more than one ePDG.
    • Click Save.

      The sidebar closes and the newly added ePDG is listed below the Evolved Packet Data Gateway (ePDG) section.

    • (Optional) Modify your ePDG configurations, if necessary, before continuing with service configuration. Select a carrier by clicking the radio button, then click Edit to update and save the ePDG details in the Edit ePDG sidebar, or click Delete to confirm and remove the ePDG.
  7. Click Next.
    The Scope page is displayed.

  8. Activate the Wi‑Fi Calling service for specific wireless networks by completing the following steps:
    • Select the checkbox next to the Network Name.
    • Click Activate or toggle the switch on.
    • (Optional) Click Deactivate or toggle the switch off to undo the activation.
    • Click Next.
    The Summary page is displayed.
  9. Review the Summary page and click Add.
