Performing Client Connectivity Diagnostics

Client Connection Diagnostics speeds and simplifies troubleshooting network and wireless client connectivity problem resolution to enable IT to quickly detect and react to potential user experience degradation.

Complete the following steps to start a client connectivity trace.
  1. From the navigation bar, click Clients to expand the menu.
  2. Under Wireless, click Wireless Clients List.
    The Client List page is displayed
  3. Click Diagnostics.
  4. For Client, enter the MAC address of the client.
  5. Select a venue from the drop-down.
  6. Click Select to select multiple, available APs and click Apply
    You can select up to 256 APs.
  7. Click Trace Connectivity to run the diagnostics.
    The trace begins. The page refreshes to display detailed results.
