In addition to the local administrators,
your RUCKUS One account can be managed by an authorized RUCKUS partner, also known as a
value-added reseller (VAR). If you want third-party administrators to manage your RUCKUS One
account on your behalf, you can delegate up to 10 VARs.
Before starting this procedure, you must know
the email addresses of the authorized RUCKUS Partner administrators that you want to
invite. If you do not have this information, contact RUCKUS Support for assistance.
Note:
The email ID must be already registered with
RUCKUS Cloud.
The email must be unique for each invitation.
A VAR cannot invite another VAR.
A Managed Service Provider (MSP) End
Customer, an MSP Integrator, and an MSP Installer cannot invite a 3rd-party
administrator.
Each tenant can invite up to 10 3rd-party administrators.
Complete the following steps to invite an
outside administrators to manage your RUCKUS One account.
From the navigation bar, click Administration > Account Management > Administrators.
The Administrators page displays a list of local administrators and
3rd-Party administrators (RUCKUS Partners) that you have authorized to manage
your account.
Scroll down to the 3rd Party Administrators section, and click
Invite 3rd Party
Administrator.
The Invite 3rd
Party Administrator dialog box is displayed.
In the Invite 3rd Party Administrator dialog box, enter the
administrator's email address.
Click Find.
RUCKUS One sends your invitation to the email address. RUCKUS One checks its
support account database for the email address that you entered.

If it finds an authorized
RUCKUS partner who is registered using the email address you entered, it
sends the invitation to the partner. After the RUCKUS partner accepts
your invitation, the partner will have administrative access to your
RUCKUS One account. You will also receive a notification from RUCKUS One
when the partner accepts your invitation. If the RUCKUS partner does not
have a RUCKUS One account, a Prime Admin account is created using the
entered email address to allow the invitation process to continue.
If it does not find a RUCKUS partner that is registered
using the email address you entered, it displays an error message.
Verify that you entered the email address correctly, and then try again.
Alternatively, try another partner's email address, if you know of
another.
Click Send Invitation.
An email invitation is sent to the partner. When the third-party administrator
logs in to RUCKUS One using the URL sent via email and accepts the invitation,
the Status column changes from Invitation sent
to Access granted.
(Optional) Under the Action column, click Revoke
access to revoke access granted to a third-party administrator
(Optional) Under the Action column, click Cancel
Invitation to cancel the invitation sent to a third-party
administrator.
