Viewing AP Details
From the APs page, you can view detailed information about wireless clients, network activity, alarms, incidents, performance metrics, and other AP-level events.

On the navigation bar, click
Wi-Fi > Access
Points > AP
List.
The Access Points page is displayed.

Click the AP name to view the AP
details.
The Overview page is displayed.
AP List - AP Overview Page
- Alarms: Displays whether the AP has a configuration error or failure. If there are no issues, a No Active Alarms message appears.
- Incidents: Displays AP incidents. If none exist, a No Reported Incidents message appears. Use the Last 24 Hours (Default), Last 7 Days, or Last 30 Days options to change the reporting period.
- Connection Success: Displays the percentage of successful client connections.
- Time to Connect: Displays the average client connection time in milliseconds.
- Client Throughput: Displays the average client throughput in percentage.
- Topology: Displays the AP in its network path (graph view).
- Floor Plan: Displays the AP placement on the floor plan. If no floor plan is assigned, a message is displayed. Click Go to floor plans to place the Access Point to place the AP on a floor plan.
- You can click the camera icon to upload a custom AP image from your local system.
- In the AP Properties
section, the following information is displayed:
- Venue: The name of the venue.
- AP Group: The name of the AP group.
- Uptime: Shows how long the AP has been operational.
- Last Seen: Shows the last check-in time.
- Wireless Radios: Displays radio details, including RF Channel, RF Bandwidth, Tx Power, and Tx Power-Mgmt (dBm).
Note:The
icon serves
as a warning, indicating that the AP is not running on maximum
power and some AP capabilities may be impacted. For more
information, refer to the AP datasheets at https://www.ruckusnetworks.com/products/wireless-access-points/. - The Overview page also provides:
- Traffic by Volume: Graph of upload and download traffic across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and all bands.
- Network History: Timeline of network events.
- Connected Clients Over Time: Displays client count trends.
- Top SSIDs by Traffic: Displays traffic distribution by SSID.
- Top SSIDs by Clients: Displays the SSIDs with the highest number of connected clients.
- Top Applications by Traffic: Shows upload and download application statistics (Upload/Download buttons appear when data is available).
- In the Settings
section you can you can view additional options.Note:

- (Optional) Select More Actions to access AP-level controls such as starting a CLI session, rebooting the AP, downloading logs, blinking LEDs, or deleting the AP.
- (Optional) Select Configure to open the Edit AP page to update or modify AP settings. Refer to Editing an AP.
