Allowing Sign-In Using LinkedIn

When creating a captive portal network with self sign in, you can allow users to register with their LinkedIn using OpenID Connect.

Before using this task, perform Steps 1 through Step 6 in the Creating a Network That Uses a Captive Portal with Self Sign In.
  1. Select LinkedIn.

  2. Click the settings icon next to LinkedIn.
    The Edit LinkedIn App window is displayed.

  3. In the Client ID and Client Secret fields, you must enter the valid user credentials and click Save.
  4. (Optional) Click See sample to view an example of the Self Sign In screen.
  5. When you have finished viewing the sample screens, click OK.
  6. Click Copy to clipboard to copy the displayed URL.
  7. Click LinkedIn Developer Console.
    The LinkedIn Developer window is displayed.
  8. In LinkedIn Developer window, click Authentication > OAuth 2.0 > Authorized Redirect URLs, and paste the copied URL in the Authorized Redirect URLs field.
  9. Click Save.
