Table 1. Summary of Enhancements in RUCKUS One
Feature Description Location
Global Page Selection RUCKUS One supports performing batch operations (also known as bulk actions) on certain elements and services across your tenant account, such as venues, devices, and services. Support for Batch Operations
Workflow Captive Portal Wi‑Fi Network for Device Onboarding Adds a Workflow portal type to captive portal Wi‑Fi networks to host automated onboarding workflows.
Current Network Captive Portal Onboarding Step New workflow action that uses captive portal Wi‑Fi redirect data to silently onboard the user onto their current network and create an identity in the selected identity group.
Hide system‑generated identities from Resident Portal Added a Hide system‑generated identities toggle per Wi‑Fi/guest network so property managers can hide auto‑created unit and guest DPSK identities from the Resident Portal.
AP Device Import Improvements – Bulk CSV, Progress Tracking, and Venue-Based Reporting Import up to 10,000 APs across 100 venues via CSV, with real-time progress, venue-based status, and downloadable success/error reports.
Config Template Bundles This feature adds Config Template Bundles support in the RUCKUS One, reusing the proven layout, hierarchical logic, and interaction patterns.
Improved Backup File Naming with Switch Name Support Enhanced backup feature lets admins use the switch name, or switch name with serial number, in configuration backup file names for easier identification. Managing Switch Backup Configurations
Support for ICX8200-AV Switch Models Support for ICX8200-AV switch models, including AV-specific PoE classes, port speeds, firmware checks, and ready-made AV CLI templates.
Config Template – Clone templates and venue instances Introduced clone APIs and UI flows to duplicate Wi-Fi, venue, AP group, DPSK, and Wi‑Fi Calling templates/instances while preserving config relationships and handling venue–WiFi–switch cloning via clone operations.
Config Template 5: Clone Venue Enhancements Added support for the new Clone Venue feature in Config Template 5, including updated behavior notes and a list of settings not carried over during cloning. Cloning a Venue
Individual DPSK Creation Inherits Service Defaults Individual DPSK creation now uses the DPSK Service default number of devices per passphrase, with “Same as pool” selected by default Adding a Passphrase for a DPSK User

IntentAI Energy Saving with Intelligent PowerSave (Early Access) IntentAI: Energy Saving introduces intelligent, machine learning–driven PowerSave modeling that improves energy efficiency by automatically shifting low‑usage access points into PowerSave mode during low‑traffic periods, while neighboring access points continue to deliver uninterrupted Wi‑Fi service. This cloud‑scale, artificial intelligence (AI)–optimized system reduces power consumption for inactive access points and continuously adapts in real time to help maintain consistent and reliable network performance.

This feature is available as an Early Access feature in RUCKUS One.

Energy Saving
Energy Saving Reports Introduced the Energy Saving Report, which provides a tenant-level report of power usage and projected savings across all venues, including metrics such as Energy Saving status, engaged APs, power consumption, and estimated monthly savings. Energy Saving Report
