Configuring Global Notifications

You can configure notification preferences from the RUCKUS One web interface to receive regular updates on your network health. You can configure notifications for various incident severities, firmware changes, and AI analytics-related incidents.

Notifications are only sent to recipients with an active email address. Complete the following steps to configure notification preferences.
  1. On the RUCKUS One web interface, navigate to Administration > Account Management > Notifications.
    The Notifications recipient page is displayed.

    This page presents the setup for the system notifications, including the recipient’s name, email address, and phone number.

  2. Click Notifications Preferences on the upper-right corner of the page.

  3. Notification Type: Select one or more notification types. Options include AP Firmware, Switch Firmware, and SmartEdge Firmware.
  4. Incidents: Select one or more incidents based on their severity, ranging from P1 (highest priority incident) to P4 (lowest priority incident), for which you want receive notifications.
  5. Recommendations: Either select both AI-Driven RRM and AI Operations, or one of them.
    Note: RUCKUS recommends enabling AI-Driven RRM and AI Operations notifications.
  6. Click Apply.
    The notification preferences are applied to the recipients that are configured for your RUCKUS One account.
