Editing an End Customer

You can edit some portions of an end customer's information and configuration.

Complete the following steps to edit an end customer.
  1. On the navigation bar, click My Customers > MSP Customers.
    The MSP Customers page is displayed.
  2. In the MSP Customers page, click the checkbox for the customer that you want to edit, and click Edit.
    The Customer Account page is displayed.

  3. In the Account Details section, you can modify the customer name, address, and service tier.
    • Customer Name: The name of the customer. The customer name must be unique.
    • Address: The address of the customer.
    • Service Tier: The customer's RUCKUS One subscription level; choices are Professional and Essentials.

      When you attempt to change the service tier of an existing customer, a pop-up message is displayed to confirm the change. Click Save to change the service tier.

    Note:

    Changing the service tier changes the features available for the customer. A downgrade from Professional to Essentials results in data loss.

    Editing A Customer Account
    Changing the Service Tier is also logged in the Activities page on the right side of the web interface. The activity is recorded, and its status is displayed using the following color codes:
    Activity Status Color Code
    Completed Green
    Pending Amber
    Failed Red
    In Progress Yellow
    You can click the drop down menu to view the list of activities based on their statuses. Change in Service Tier setting is also captured in the customer's RUCKUS One account, by navigating to Administration > Admin Logs.
  4. In the Paid Subscriptions section, you can edit Device Subscriptions and Service Expiration Date.
  5. Set Enable access to RUCKUS Support to ON to enable this option when requested by RUCKUS Support. When you enable this option, your grant RUCKUS Support temporary administrator-level access. This access is automatically revoked after 21 days.
  6. Click Save.
