Editing or Deleting a Property Management
System Service
You can edit or delete a Property
Management System (PMS) service to manage integration settings, credentials, and service
connections used by venues in RUCKUS One.
Note:
If editing the Client Secret, Client ID, or Enterprise ID of a PMS service, obtain the
PMS configuration values from the Oracle OPERA Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP)
environment before beginning PMS service edits in RUCKUS One. Refer to Collecting PMS Credentials from OHIP for more details.
Editing a Property Management System
service updates the service configuration but does not automatically apply changes to
existing venues. You must manually update the PMS selection or settings at each venue, if
required.
You cannot delete a Property Management
System service while it is still associated with one or more venues. Remove or update the
PMS configuration from all associated venues before deleting it.
Deleting a Property Management System
service does not directly delete property units or identities. Unit and identity behavior
is controlled by the Property Management settings at the venue level.
Changes to PMS credentials (such as
Client ID or Client Secret) may affect connectivity. Always use Test Connection to verify the
configuration before saving.
Ensure you have the required admin
permissions to edit or delete Property Management System services.
