Rogue AP Detection Policy Details

The Rogue AP Detection policy enables you to create Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) policies for rogue wireless device detection. You can create rules to classify rogue access points as Known, Ignored, Malicious, or Unclassified.

Complete the following steps to view the Rogue AP Detection policy details:

  1. From the navigation bar, select Network Control > Policies & Profiles.
    The Policies & Profiles page is displayed.
  2. In the Policies & Profiles page, click Rogue AP Detection tile.
    The Rogue AP Detection page is displayed. The Rogue AP Detection policies are displayed in the table. The Name column displays the Rogue AP Detection policy names, and the Scope column displays the total number of venue instances that use the Rogue AP Detection policy.

  3. In the Name column, click <Rogue AP Detection policy name>.
    The <Rogue AP Detection policy name> details page is displayed. You can see the Rogue AP Detection policy details, and total number of venue instances, venue names, Address, and Rouge APs information that use the Rogue AP Detection policy.
