Configuring mDNS Proxy Service in a Venue

An mDNS proxy service is a network proxy that allows devices on different subnets to connect by forwarding requests between network interfaces. You can configure mDNS Proxy services in a venue.

Complete the following steps to configure mDNS Proxy service in a venue.
  1. On the navigation bar, click Venues.
    The Venues page is displayed.
  2. Select the Venue Name > Services > mDNS Proxy.
    The mDNS Proxy tab is displayed.

  3. Click Add Instance.
    The Add Instance dialog box is displayed.

  4. Complete the following fields:
    • AP: Select an AP from the drop-down list.
    • mDNS Proxy Service: Select an mDNS Proxy Service from the drop-down list.
  5. Click Add.
